  • This is great! AJ Bombers has some great wisdom to share on this topic. The most important thing he pointed out to me was: you know how people love it when the owner comes through the restaurant and shakes their hands and chats with them?

When you're engaging with people on twitter, as a restaurant owner, you're doing that same thing -- shaking their hands. It makes them feel more connected with the restaurant, because they can say, "I know the owner."
  • There is this awesome bar by my house called Kate's Pub and here is why I love it. The first time I was there the lady waiting on our table was great and cared about us... I went to the bar to talk to the bartender about playing a music show at the bar and he said I need to talk to the owner. The owner was the lady, Kate, who was waiting on our table.

It are those people and companies when the person in charge is also the person doing the work that go far. Glad I found you as well :)... We need to talk soon...
  • Hi Shane, love this discussion, it's exactly the kinds of talk that's hopefully happening all around all kinds of retail/B+M locations. Thanks for sharing this. You're totally right though, you have to have a great product 1st or it's a little scary. Thanks for the ideas Cameron. Love to have a video chat sometime.
